Content background color change in Blogspot

I want to change the content background color in the blogspot post:

Syntax:         <div style="background-color:#CFE6DD;color: black;padding;">

                          Content or Code - past in between this code, the background color changed.

                      </div>

Explanation:
1. Copy the <div style> line of code.
2. write you content or code
3. Close the </div> tag

See above two line of code change background of the post text / code when you past in post.
