Step by step instructions to download the HP Softwares:
1. www.hp.com
2. Click on Software
3. Click on Free & Trail Softwares / A-Z Softwares
4. See the Latest releases
HP LR 12.0
HP UFT 12.0
HP ALM 12.0
HP QC 12.0
3. Select the required software
Fille the required information * with Evaluate Option
Click the Next button
4. Click IAGREE button for terms and conditions
5. Now list of the Software available
Better to download Using HP Download Manager (select this option)
Note: if already installed no need to install
6. Click on the required oppostie Download link
Ex: software, HP UFT 12.0 MLU (T6510-15082.zip)
7. select the required location to download
Note: it will take 1 to 2 hours depends on the network speed and size of s/w
Important Note: if u have already hp-passport login directly login and download the above software's.

Q. Start up shows three operating systems? I want to Remove two OS xp?
-Multiple operating systems listing in boot menu:
The list governed by Display list of operating systems option
(Start >> Control Panel>> System >> Advanced button >> Startup and Recovery).
Click on default OS Edit<button>
Boot <notepad file> open in that remove the OS's manually -> save the file.
Click Ok buttonWindows 2003 Server: Upgrade the SP1(already existing OS) to SP2
1. If u want to update the latest Version of yr Windows Operating System:

Ex: If u want to upgrade Windows Server 2003 SP1 to Sp2
Sol: Type the above url in the address bar in the any browser, Directly it will update yr
system from sp1 to sp2 (170MB 1hr 50min if it is 1gb ram)
Note: QC 10.0 supported OS is : Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2

1. Clear Navigation with Snap shots: http://www.simongibson.com/intranet/iis6/USB Port enable / Disable in Windows 7:
Steps:
1. Windows key +R --> Open Run --> Regedit
2. HKEY_LOCAL_mACHINE
|--> SYSTEM --> CURRENT CONTROL --> Services --> USBSTOR
|--> sTART --> rIGHT CLICK TO MODIFY
3. To enable usb ports
|--> change the value from 4 to 3
To enable usb ports

Value Data 4
try alternate to enable and disable the usb drives
and observe the drives enable or disable or not.
Getting Sound Recorder on Windows XP to work?
---------------------------------------------
Go to your Start Button>Settings>Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices = which will open a box that has a number of tabs. So, check the "audio" tab, and see what is there under "Sound Recording". That should show that there is a factory installed recording device and there should be a "select" box that will show that the device is simply turned on.
And, if you really want to get a better sound recorder, get a copy of Limewire (file trading), and download a simple Adobe program called "Audition", which is a sound recording program that is easy to use.

Lock Drive Without Any Software:
Step 1 : Goto "RUN" and type "gpedit.msc"
Step 2 : "user configuration">>"Administrative Templetes">>"Windows Components">>"Windows Explorer".
Step 3 : Right click on "Prevent Access To Drives From My Computers" and then click on properties.
Step 4 : Click on the radio button "Enabled" and you can select any option in the menu.
Step 5 : Follow the same procedure for disabling it.
