Camtasia 9: 1 Record - Edit - Share Videos

Record the videos with Camtasia 9?

Steps:
1. Open Camtasia 9 & Record Video:

• Click Start button and Click on select all apps in windows 10
• Click on Camtasia 9
• Click Record button for Record your desktop screen. It is there at top.  By default it captures total computer screen.

2. Customize Recording Settings & record video.

2.1 Selected Area:
      By selection it records full screen or specified area.

      Select area >> Full Screen to record the full screen
      Select area >> Custom to record specified area. 
   
2.2 Recorded inputs:
      Choose other inputs to record along with the screen. 
   
      Recorded inputs >> Camera off: select down arrow for Camera on       for Choose     Webcam to record desktop screen with Webcam (i.e, include human video)

      Recorded inputs >> Audio off: select down arrow for Microphone phone or System Audio to record desktop screen with audio simultaneously.

2.3. Click Start round button to begin Recording. 


3. Stop the Recording:
When complete the recording, click the Camtasia recorder icon which is available in the taskbar, then click stop button.

Here 3 Buttons are there:
Delete: to delete the video to start over.
Pause: if you want temporarly stop the recording then click pause.
Stop: once recrding is complete then click Stop button.

Quick Tip: Press “F10” to stop a recording, or “F9” to pause/resume a recording.

Edit the video in Camtasia 9?

Trim out Mistakes:

To remove the extra content, drag the end of the clip “in.” This is called trimming. If you trim too much, drag the clip back to restore your video.

It’s good to note that any edits you make on the timeline, won’t affect your original recording in the media bin. 

Cut out Mistakes:

Drag the red or green handle on the playhead to select the area to remove, then click the cut button to remove the section. A stitched line appear, showing you where the cut was made.

If you make a selection and want to bring the playhead back together, double click the playhead.

Add Titles, Annotations, Effects & More:

Add a level of polish and professionalism to your videos with eye-catching titles, annotations, effects and more. Click and drag them from the tools panel to the timeline or canvas.

Produce & Share Video in Social Media?

When you ready to share your video then click the share button in the upper right corner of the editor & select a destination to share the video.

Work with Camtasia 9 Project1:

2. File > Import Project > Select this project > Click OK
